Our store has been in business for over 16 years. It was originally owned and operated by Carlton and Cathy Cook as The Book Rack on Bellaire Blvd, at Stella Link near where Whole Foods Market is now located.  Glen Vaughn bought the store from his friend Carlton and moved it to 4650 Beechnut renaming it Read It Again,Glen where it flourished for about 8 years. Then long-time employee, CJ. Ramsey purchased it and shortened the name to Read It Again.(It was cheaper than buying a new sign.) After alot of family and heath issues, Ms. Ramsey was forced to sell the store and it was taken over by Grace Galloway who perpetuated the name by adding & Again to the end.

Grace moved the store to its present location at 38 Braeswood Square which is located at the corner of Chimney Rock and N. Braeswood. in the Belden's shopping center next door to Tuesday Morning. Read It Again & Again has risen from the ashes of the economy to become a destination for all types of activites ranging from art camp, book clubs, chess, jewelry, author signings, mystery parties and more.
