Alberto Arcia's forte is humor – He is the President of The Woodlands Writer’s Guild. His colleagues call him the Panamanian Humorist from Texas, and if you have ever heard him read any of his stuff, you’ll know why. He’s taken the term unabashed buffoonery and moved it to an artistic level. Like the protagonist he created, Alex Perez, Alberto is also an immigrant, arriving in Texas on the eve of his 18th birthday. Along the way, he became a successful traveling salesman, chased countless women, caught a bunch, and married a few. He has children, and grandchildren, and presently lives in Plantersville, Texas. His novel, Cut & Run – The Misadventures of Alex Perez is a must read for anyone with a sense of humor.
